Wallingford School’s under 16 netball team is aiming high after an unbeaten run through the south-east area section of the Oxfordshire schools county netball competition. The team, made up of Samantha Hatfield, Lisa Holmes, Claire Longbottom, Nicky Davis, Emma Peyton, Lucy Mowlam and Samantha Mace, held Langtree School, Woodcote, to a draw, while the other five area teams were beaten. Now Wallingford will do battle at county level, and if Emma successful will go on to represent Oxfordshire nationally. If they do, it will show their consistency, for they will be repeating the triumph they enjoyed as an under 14 side.
