The Oxford University Dramatic Society (OUDS) is staging a “son et lumiere” production of “Dr Faustus” in the University’s floodlit fifteenth century cloisters. The production stars some of the University’s most talented young actors, including Piers Gibbon as Faustus and Mark Roberts as Mephistopheles. To enhance the heightened atmosphere, the famous clock will be switched off to strike midnight during Faustus’s dying speech.
