The exhibition was magical, too, in its trans- formation of the or- ganisers’ funds, which increased by about 300. Rail fans packed into the Exeter Hall, Kidling- ton, for the rail show, / “It was an amazing success, ” said Mr Sear, “and we shall certainly be having another next year.’ There were eleven layouts in the show including the 37ft long ‘O’ gauge one in the photograph and 20 stalls.
