On Monday, June 2, 1967, two young rowers of the Wallingford Rowing Club, Andrew Cusack and Tony James, both aged twelve, proudly displayed the clubs new blades at the clubs annual fete. The clubs crew also took part in the Sun Cup for novice fours, but were narrowly beaten by Wallingford Grammar School.
