On June 25, 2000, the Oxford Mail Motor Show was held at Horspath and featured a variety of attractions for visitors. Oxford Mail Editor Patrick Fleming was seen putting on the Fish suit, while Roy Carroll raced on the Zoom Motorcycles Yamaha TZ250 machine he had taken to second place in the New Fia 250 GP series. Georgina Polden from the Kings Wheels stand was seen with a young visitor, while Oxford United players Ross and Simon Weatherstone were seen with the Oxford Mail’s Vernon Gilbert. Paramedic Eddie Webb was seen with a Fish on his Medibike and Glen Lockhart, ten, was seen with Mini Connor and Emily Destion, nine, with Smost. Chris was also seen at the event.
