The novice coxed four also found a smile in the final of the women’s unclassified fours, despite losing to New Hall, Cambridge by three lengths. Wallingford School crews scored an impressive tally of victories in the Nottingham City Regatta at weekend. In Saturday’s regatta there was a separate event on Sunday – the Walling- ford under-16 coxed four won a good race despite rough conditions over the last 500 metres, beating Not- tingham Boat Club by a length. Then the under 17 coxed four, rowing in the under 18 race, followed their example by taking first place against Strodes Col- lege and City Orient RC. the
