Wantage businessman Brian Summers has given his local football club Ardington a boost for the new season by sponsoring a new playing kit. The kit, bearing the name of his firm “Tune-rite”, was presented to the club by reserve team manager Eddie Smith and first team manager David Jones. Mr Summers, a motor mechanic of Ogbourne Close, hopes his sponsorship will put the club in tune for success this season. Reserve team manager Eddie Smith said: “Brian is a staunch club man, and we are delighted he is sponsoring us. It is good to see small firms taking an interest in local football.” The Ardington squad pictured in the new strip consists of Graham Sessions, Rob Rosser, Dick Burton, Peter Booroff, Stewart Belcher, Dave Broadis, Vincent Forbes, Allan Jones, Phil Eltham, Andy Lovelock and Aidie Lee.Wantage businessman Brian Summers has given his local football club Ardington a boost for the new season by sponsoring a new playing kit.
