The women said they were pro- testing about a breakdown in talks about bonus payments for telephon- ists at Oxford’s International Direct Dialing booths in Oxford. They left about 30 operators to maintain services at Telephone House, Speedwell Street, Oxford. A Post Office spokesman said that full emergency services were maintained and the impact of the walkout was minimal.
