David Magridge, 16, of Littlemore, and David Bayliss, 14, of Cowley, are two members of the 41st Oxford Scout Troop who received their chief scout awards last night at the scout hut in Beauchamp Lane, Cowley. To win the award, Magridge completed a vehicle maintenance course, played rugby, entertained people, took younger scouts camping, and did public service. Bayliss, a pupil at Oxford School, completed a vehicle maintenance course, did practical handwork, crafts, trained younger scouts, went camping, and did public service.
